Welcome Letter & Supply List

Welcome To Mrs. Coco’s 1st Grade Class!

I am very excited to be your child’s first grade teacher for the 2017-2018 school year! What a greater vocation is there but to teach little children how to read! I can assure you that first grade is going to be wonderful, exciting, and challenging grade.

Below is a suggested list of supplies that your child should have for school. Please label each item with both their first and last name. It is difficult for little children to be able to identify items, therefore to avoid tears, labeling is a great solution to a potential problem. I will place all extra supplies in a bag/box so when they need more, they will have it. Thanks!

PLEASE TAKE OUT ALL THE SUPPLIES FROM THEIR PACKAGES SO IT'S EASIER TO UNPACK ON THE FIRST DAY!!!

Your child will need either a bag lunch or lunch money in an envelope with their first name, last name, and lunch number clearly written on it. You also have the option to pay into their account online. This may be easier for some.

I am looking forward to meeting and working with both you and your child. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to e-mail me at lcoco@twpunionschools.org or send me a note when school begins. Thank you!!! J

                                          Sincerely,
