Things to Remember

Things to Remember iconThings to Remembertitle

  • Label everything: Backpacks, clothing, and lunches all need to have names on them.
  • Lunch money: Place lunch money in an envelope and write your child's name and pin number on it.  In the morning lunch money is sent directly to the cafeteria.
  • Tardies: Late students need to get a "late slip" from the office before coming to class.
  • Birthdays: To prevent hurt feelings, birthday invitations may not be distributed at school unless you invite the entire class.  I will also pass them out if you invite all the boys or all the girls.  Your child may celebrate his/her birthday at school by bringing a treat for all. Birthdays will be celebrated during snack time. Children with summer birthdays can celebrate in June.
  • Parent Volunteers: For safety reasons, parent volunteers sign in at the office and wear a nametag while on campus during school hours.
  • Conferences/Progress Reports: Conferences are held once a year. Additional conferences can be made by special arrangement with the teacher.
